- Hacker culture to inform school culture

- what are building block educational experiences? informal learning experiences...
- assessment? measurements?
- how to you better accommodate the presence of the individual in the system?
- homeschooling is intuitive; institutionally you need wider measurement nets...
- people don't like to be tested
- what is exchange/value/result of education... but does that lead to a stunted pursuit of learning?
- blind spots that our assessments, approach to learning, etc... negative space in education/academic design
- testing yourself against yourself vs external answer... reflection vs evaluation
- scaling/military production/industial organization...
- "students: people who have chosen to quest"
- what is emergent education?
- many problems seem to arise from centralization and crystallization
- embracing risk, ambiguity
